The latest version of firmware for the UPS itself is 6. It is unlikely that the UPS firmware is causing this problem, so I would not recommend upgrading it at this moment. The firmware on the management card can be upgraded without powering down the UPS, but we would need to know what version the card is at and which model card it is before advising you on whether it needs upgrading. The card should be an AP or AP card. Other than that, the best option is to contact your local APC technical support team as they will be best able to assist you with this matter.
